My family and I went out to eat at Kincaid’s Fish Chop and Steak. It should have been great again. My oldest son Eugene loves it. He is nine years old and he loves the fries they make. However the night I’m talking about he did not look so well. I knew something was wrong simply because he was not excited to be there. His face was beat red and he was sweating. I was about to ask him if everything was alright but I knew it wasn’t so instead I said “Let’s go to the hospital.”

I rushed over with Eugene to the Children’s Hospital of King’s leaving my husband and our four kids behind. It would have been far too much to try to bring all five of our kids with us. Eugene was throwing up blood in the car. He hadn’t eaten a bite at Kincaid’s so it wasn’t the food. We got to the hospital and the doctors knew he needed immediate attention. They ended up removing his appendix.

If that wasn’t bad enough I had problems with my insurance company. They claimed since they never authorized the surgery it was my expense. I had no way to pay for it, I have bad credit since I am trying to support such a large family. I found that car title loans in Norfolk, Virginia could get me the money I needed quickly. It was easy to fill out an application and I was able to pay my bills.

Eugene is doing much better now. We went to Kincaid’s again and he got there fries so it almost made up for the last time.
